Two weeks back, my 4 year old (Harvey) got told about the Carona Virus at kindy. It really struck a cord with him because he came home and asked Mum and I all about it. It was at this point that my wife (Camila) mentioned to him that she was in fact having to stay home because she'd recently returned back from a work trip in NZ.
Okay. "Mum's at home because of the carona virus!", said Harvey. No son...
Next day at kindy, I gave the 1st teacher the heads up that this might pop out, then dropped him off and went about my day.
At 3pm, Camila messages me in a fizz saying that Harvey was at school and sadly said to one of the teachers that Mummy is at home because she has Corona Virus.
At this point, the lovely teachers had to go into boss mode and follow all the protocols.
When they phoned Camila, they asked a few general questions (none helped dampen their curiosity when she admitted to being in quarantine at home 😖), then flat out asked if she had the "thing", and she burst out in explanation!
